Loes Hekkenberg

Loes Hekkenberg, residing in Zwolle, is a passionate artist holding a diploma from the Art Academy (CABK) and a background in landscape architecture. In addition to her interests in painting, photography, and travel, she has acquired various teaching qualifications. With experience as an activities coordinator and a teacher at the Muzisch Centrum in Emmeloord, Loes successfully completed a fine arts painting course a few years ago, enhancing her skills.

For Loes, the experience of the landscape is the focal point of her art. The paintings created in Kampen were all crafted outdoors, allowing the changing seasons to be vividly portrayed in her work. Her painting style is recognizable as impressionistic.

Beyond painting and photography, Loes shares her knowledge by conducting workshops in Zwolle and Kampen (refer to "Workshops" for more information). She also undertakes commissions, ranging from portraits to painting animals and adorning sunshade canvases, depending on the client's personal preferences. Recently, she introduced the opportunity for personalized online consultations about individual artwork.
